I took a break from the metal bands that I have been photographing lately and changed genre’s a little bit. Jackson Price is a solo guitarist in San Diego. He had a show at Voyeur on Friday with Marta Blalock. It was nice not having earplugs. Together they played a good mellow show. Jackson is a really good acoustic guitar player. He does shows all over San Diego. Marta is a violin player and violin teacher. Voyeur is a bar/restaurant/club with an different kind of decor. Skulls on the wall and ghosts in pictures. The wall on the stage is all LED lights. They are all black plastic which reflected my flashes. This creates a different kind of separation between Jackson and Marta and the background. Cool stuff.
