ASYMCA Mud Run

Tuesday, October 28th, 2008 @ 7:13 am | Photography Assignment, Project

Dirty and muddy. I had the priviledge of shooting for 3 Hot Shoes on October 18th, 2008. ASYMCA held the 10k mud run at Camp Pendleton. It’s a 10 kilometer run with 6 obstacles through the mud. I was posted on top of “Slippery Hill“. It was a super steep hill of slippery mud. No one could run it. It was great watching everyone run up to the bottom of the hill and then slow down to a hesitant pace while ascending the hill. Everyone slipped at least once. To further add to the difficulty, someone was standing at the top with a fire hose spraying people as they passed by. Maybe I’ll run it next time. To see the photos I took for 3 Hot Shoes got to http://3hotshoes.printroom.com/ and select any of the links.
