It was awesome. Skateboarding is awesome. HesH SesH 14 went well and it began like this. When I arrived John was already holding the table. Cory was there with him. Apparently Cory had a late night of partying (technically his night didn’t end until sometime that afternoon) and just got there early. It was a strange day in that it looked like rain from the first moment. I received a few messages asking if we were still holding it in the rain. What made this one particularly strange is that last June it was too hot to skate. The ground was too hot to fall on and no one could bear a sesh for more than 10 minutes. This year it was too cold. I blame global warming.
People began arriving around noon (skaters are only up before noon if it’s a continuation of the night before). For some reason this sesh was all about the blunts. Everyone, including myself, seemed to start the day with a noseblunt on the box. I have so many photos now of blunts I don’t know what to do with them. I even have a photo of me doing a noseblunt! That’s how many I have. Ridiculous.
I would say it was a successful sesh. A few new faces and a few faces that haven’t been around in a long time. The MMC lives on in spirit and we are here to give it a location. Check out the rest of HesH SesH 14 photos as well.
