This is the official Hesh Sesh website. Hesh Sesh is an event for skaters. We gather bimonthly to skate. We bring obstacles and barbeque. It’s a social event for skateboarders in the community. Previous HesH SesH’s have been at La Mesita Park in La Mesa. Each event has been better than the last. It started in March of 2007 with the minds of Jojo Seaman, John Snay, and Zach Petschek.

This is not exclusive to people that ride skateboards. We have plenty to welcome skateboard supporters. We support local artists and musicians. Skateboarding is a social community event. It has always been about being part of the community.

Skateboarders are “Urban Guerrillas” to society. It involves creativity in exectution and discovery. It is about style, form an unique ideas. For this reason people argue that is more of an art form than a sport. But that’s not all. It’s simply about having fun with no limitations.

This is what we try to emphasize in HesH SesH. We promote creativity and thinking outside the box. If we do not exist in 10 years, the memory of the event will. It is the spirit of Animal Chin.

If you do not know what Animal Chin really is, step on a skateboard and ride down your neighborhood streets. Ride with no real destination and no utilitarian purpose. Carve around telephone poles and ride off curbs. Then you will find him.
